Check out this testimonial from Damien Lucev.
When rubber hits the road it’s one thing – but the ability to tackle extreme rock, mud and sand conditions is quite another – and the M8060 Trepadors have proved to an adventurous Maxxis 4X4 customer that they are more than up for the challenge.
Damian Lucev, who was recently runner up in the 4×4 Australia magazine Custom of the Year competition, documents his experience with his Trepadors which he says for off-road performance are quite exceptional, knocking competitors “out of the park”!
“I have been running the M8060 Trepador in a 35×12.5-16 in bias ply with street compound for the last two months on my highly modified Defender 90. These are far and away the best off-road tyre I have had. I have tackled the steep and muddy tracks of the Victorian High Country and some of the hardest beach and bush tracks in Tasmania in this time.
I run them on bead locks to get the full performance potential from them being a bias ply tyre. I can lower them to 5 psi and these tyres just mould and grip to rock, mud and sand without an issue. I have run other premium tyre brands and these knock them out of the park. The sidewalls on the Trepadors grab to any rock wall I put them on. The tread has a huge depth which self-cleans so well when in muddy conditions. On-road they also drive well. They can be loud but I personally don’t mind that sound and actually enjoy it. They are an amazing performing and looking tyre.
Look no further for serious off-road performance then the Trepadors M8060 in bias ply. Highly recommend.”
