CBT Racing’s GQ Nissan Patrol is revving up and ready to race in the Burdekin 300 in Ayr (North Queensland), the season starter of the 2022 Mickey Thompson ARB Queensland Off Road Racing Championship.
Sporting a sparkling new set of 15” Maxxis RAZR MTs, the team is geared up for a successful season, right from the get-go! Hitting all their goals in 2021, they finished an overall First in Queensland for Class 8 (Extreme Off-road), as well as securing a First place both in the short and long course championships.

CBT Team Driver, Christian Trusz says that in 2022 the team is looking to push the limits of the GQ Nissan Patrol Extreme 4-wheel drive and team CBT Racing even further, right from the first race.
“At the Burdekin 300, we will be pushing for an outright placing and 1st in Class. We believe that the Nissan Patrol is going to be faster than ever on a set of 15-inch rims and RAZR tyres. We also believe the smaller rim size will assist with smoothing out the ride in the rough terrain and reduce the chance of damaging rims (because of the larger side wall on the tyre).”
Good luck to the CBT Racing Team – be sure to check back here for more news of their progress as the season unfolds.
