From the very first bounce to the final whistle there’s no stopping Maxxis Tyres – now teamed up as an advertising sponsor of the AFL State Leagues for the WAFL/SAFL/VFL 2022 season.
As a first-time sponsor the Maxxis banner and TV broadcast ads are running over Saturday and Sunday afternoon matches and during the State League Finals on the 7 network and Prime 7 in Victoria, Channel 7 in South Australia and in WA on 7 and GWN7 (broadcasting to regional areas outside Perth).
Marketing Manager, Josephine Evans says that Maxxis is delighted to be part of the State AFL season, with the sponsorship making excellent sense for the Maxxis brand.
“Maxxis tyres are becoming increasingly well known and loved across Australia for their exceptional performance, reliability and agility over a range of different terrains and in challenging conditions. This aligns them well with a demanding and high performing sport such as the AFL which has a tremendous following across the three states. The sponsorship is therefore an obvious partnership which offers a great platform to increase awareness of the Maxxis brand and the calibre of our tyres with an AFL audience which, like from their tyres, expects outstanding results from their team.”
Maxxis branding is evident in various ways throughout the broadcasts such as through the use of the “Maxxis Tyres, Performance when it’s wanted, Safety when its needed” tagline, the “Maxxis Tyres Replay” and “Maxxis Player in Heavy Traffic”.
