The Winner of the GTurbo Perenjori 360 Western Australian 0ff-road Racing Championship event has praised his Maxxis Trepadors for doing a great job on a variety of surfaces.
The event began for winner Harleigh Uren with a recce of the full course – which he said proved to be a reasonably simple design with many high-speed sections.
With his aim to just keep out of the trees, he came equal second in the Prologue, and said the car felt good and everything was working well. He completed Section 1 in first position which gave him a great start for the Sunday race.
“Starting first on-road on Sunday was nice, no dust and all I had to do was maintain a good pace and look after the car to bring home the win. It was nice to have most of the back markers getting out of the way as I came around for my second lap.”
Harleigh said he had recently upgraded to a harder compound MAXXIS tyre for the rear, which proved to be a good decision as he had no chunking issues throughout the whole race.
“The mighty Trepadors did a great job on the variety of surfaces around the track.”
Great job Harleigh, from all of us here at Maxxis Tyres!
