Maxxis Tyres Golf Game Competition – Brisbane 4×4 Show 2021 – Terms and Conditions
By participating in this competition (‘Promotion’), participants (‘Participants’) are deemed to agree with these terms and conditions.
Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 16 years or over. Entrants between the ages of 16 and 18 years must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions.
Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this promotion.
The promoter means the legal entity identified in the Maxxis Tyres Australia privacy policy found at https://maxxistyres.com.au/privacy/ (‘Promoter Privacy Policy’ and ‘Promoter’ respectively).
Employees (and their immediate family members) of the Promoter and agencies associated with the Promotion are ineligible to participate in the Promotion.
The Promotion commences at 8.00am on the 19th March 2021 and ends at 6.00pm AEDST on 21st March 2021 (‘Promotional Period’).
To be eligible to gain an entry into the daily draws, participants must have registered their details (Via the QR code provided) on the Maxxis Stand at the Brisbane 4×4 Show (19th – 21st March, 2021), and successfully achieved a ‘hole-in-one’ at the golf game on the Maxxis Tyres stand.
One (1) entry is allotted per participant.
The Promotion is a game of chance and one winner will be picked at random from the eligible participants at the end of each day of the Brisbane 4×4 Show 2021.
There are three (3) prizes to be won across the Promotional Period, with one prize being drawn at the end of each day of the show (Friday, 19th March, Saturday, 20th March & Sunday, 21st March).
Each prize consists of a set of four (4) Maxxis tyres up to the value of $1,000, not including rims/wheels. This value is based on recommended retail price. Fitting & balancing at a mutually agreed Maxxis Tyres Australia dealer within Australia. The winner is responsible for all other expenses associated with fitting the tyres to their vehicle, including those incurred for transportation to the fitment location, fitting, balancing and disposal of the old tyres.
The Prize, or any unused portion of the Prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
If the winner does not take the Prize (or an element of the Prize) by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the Prize (or that element of the Prize) will be forfeited.
If the Prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize for a prize of equal or specified value, subject to Victorian State Government Regulations.
The Prize will be awarded to the person named in the entry. If the winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian on the winner’s behalf.
The winner(s) will be notified via text or email by personnel from Maxxis Tyres Australia. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winner should seek independent financial advice related to the prize.
All entries become and remain the property of the Promoter. The Promoter may use the Participant’s name and entry content for any commercial purpose, including future promotional marketing and publicity purposes.
All personal information about a Participant submitted as part of an entry will be protected in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. All Participants who choose to ‘opt in’ consent to have their contact details released to the Promoter and to receive ongoing marketing material and communications from the Promoter and agencies associated with the Promotion.
If for any reason a winner does not take or claim the prize as of 5 days after they have been notified by Maxxis Tyres Australia, the Promoter may either (a) award the prize to another valid Participant, or (b) treat the prize as forfeited.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of Participants and their entry.
If for any reason the Promotion is interfered with or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any Participant, or (b) modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
