In this last Maxxis Man’s Off-Road Showcase for the year we catch up with Daniel from Bush Bound – who’s on his first set of RAZRs and counting, saying that with his experience being outstanding so far, this certainly won’t be the last!
Driving a 2001 Nissan patrol GU TD42, Daniel and his partner Kaz document their travels which take them off-road and doing a lot of wheeling around their home area of Neerim and Bunyip and regularly travelling further afield to explore the Victorian High Country.
The Bush Bound duo’s Maxxis RAZRs have become a vital part of their off-road adventuring and camping – providing them with all the grip and durability they need plus a whole lot more:
“We have used many tyres over the years. This is our first set of Maxxis RAZRs and won’t be our last. They have unreal grip off-road while still having awesome on-road characteristics. By far my new favourite all-rounder! We are expecting a baby in December and I wouldn’t want any other tyre on the GU!”
Bush Bound’s GU has a number of mods making sure it’s fit for purpose, including 3” Dobinson coils and 4” Superior Engineering external res shocks; Superior Engineering rear coil brace with hydraulic bump stops; Superior Engineering super flex sway bar, hybrid radius arms, all heavy duty arms, a TD05 18g Turbo with 12mm injector pump and a 4” Patroldocta snorkel and airbox.
Since talking to Daniel and getting this article on-the-go, Bush Bound have shared some very exciting news on their Insta page – and we can confirm that the bub Daniel was talking about has now arrived! Congratulations Daniel and Kaz – we trust your new addition to Team Bush Bound will be joining you and your trusty RAZRs on another off-road adventure in the very near future!
And from the Maxxis Man to all of you, happy holidays and safe off-roading!
