Extreme 4WD motorsport competitors, CBT Racing, have their trusty GQ Nissan Patrol tested and ready for a bumper off-road season ride, with its long-wearing Bighorns soon to be replaced with new Maxxis Razr MT772s.
The team, which has competed in Queensland off-road racing competitions for a number of years, is a strong supporter of the Maxxis brand – with their current Bighorns being vital to the team’s success to date.
CBT’s Christian Trusz says that the team spent the off-season finetuning their vehicle, and recently attended an event at Mulgowie, as a “test and tune” for the 2019 season.
“The team’s performance at this event was very promising and despite the very high standard of competition, CBT Racing’s Nissan Patrol was the fastest vehicle overall on the Saturday. With the 2019 season just a few weeks away we are putting the final touches on the GQ Nissan Patrol to ensure the vehicle is at its optimum and look forward to having our new Razrs fitted to complete our preparation as we get ready to chase maximum performance and success.”
CBT will be competing in Off-Road Racing’s Modified 4WD Class (Class 8) for 2019 in the following events:
- March: Sexton 100
- April: St George 399
- May: SEQORRA Short Course – Dalby
- August: Rainbow Desert Enduro
- August: ARB Goondiwindi 400
- October: Gympie Short Course
- November: Mulgowie Short Course
We wish the CBT team every success and look forward to seeing those Razrs giving them the edge!
