A Maxxis customer from Townsville took his 37×12.5-17 M8060 Trepadors (fitted to his Nissan Patrol with TD42 engine) to new heights in ARB’s Aussie Outback Challenge, a 7-day extreme 4×4 endurance race though Broken Hill’s Aussie Outback terrain.
Placed First in the Pro Stock Diesel Category and Seventh overall in the competition, Paul Whiting, of Big Wheels Truck Alignment, says despite putting his Trepadors through the ringer during the event, they were still going strong at the end.
The event, which included a field of 28 of the toughest competitors in this class, is the most prestigious 4×4 challenge in Australia and has the important mission of “showcasing the Aussie Outback to the world.”

Paul also participated with the same tyres and vehicle in the 2018 ARB Borneo Safari International Off-road Challenge (again putting them to the extreme test!) in one of the most gruelling off-road events on the planet – through the rugged terrain of Sabah, Malaysia.
